This site is a place for me to record and share my experiences of learning French. Hopefully it will be useful for other language learners, as well as for those who have an interest in France and French culture.
At the time of writing (August 2008) I am almost a complete beginner in French. For the past four years since meeting my French boyfriend I have done some light dabbling (very sporadically) in the french language. However, as most language learners will know, sporadic dabbling does not get you very far in your target language. Consequently I need to start almost from scratch, but I do now have the time and motivation to start learning French properly and consistently. I will be taking a fairly intensive approach with my studying and my ultimate goal is to eventually reach advanced fluency.
